This painting was made with a literal broomstick, the largest paintbrush Ruth ever used, wanting to see how large scale this thick paint could go. Additional brushstrokes highlight this painting in cheery vibrant colors of pink and red hues, commanding a passionate presence of energy.

The entire background of this 4x5 foot acrylic painting has a stipple effect, used by a pouncing brush... actually 7 of them rubber-banded together, and acquired from 3 different supply stores to make a big enough background brush for speeding things up a little. This painting uses 2 of the many custom made tools Ruth has fashioned to illustrate the wonders of this thick paint. There is a possible 6 shades of green used.

Varnished to protect the paint and add a nice sheen.
