Pink Cane Swirl Heart

Pink Cane Swirl Heart
Entirely Acrylics on 2 inch Cradled Panel with Finished Edges
12x12

This painting has been SOLD and in private collection.

This is a finger painting with thicker paints and 3-dimensional rose swirls that form a bigger heart, and part of a demo on the Paint Swirl technique. Normally an artist should avoid making a shape towards the center of the painting to keep it balanced, unless here where it it central focus. Then it can be gotten away with.

Bright colors and texture make this piece interesting. Very deep edges add quality as well as being painted on a hard cradled panel instead of canvas.
