"Vase of Rosettes" came about by writing a Kindle book on how to "Make Rosettes Made of Paint" by using cake decorating tips and really thick paint. 

The book talks about another main painting actually, and how to get the roses extra 3D in dimension. But towards the end of the book, there's a section on what to do with all your practice tests, as they add up and this thick painting style tends to make more than one painting at once. 

This "Vase of Rosettes" painting was a by-product of showing how you can stack up all these rosettes to form a really cool vase even, and then more rosettes filling the bunch of flowers. 

A palette knife'd background of rich blue and aqua compliments the wine colored roses, and touch of white pearl on the vase to add class.
