Are You a Complex Puzzle Piece?

Complex Puzzle Piece

Are you a simple person or complex? Are you truly unique or do you try to fit in? Or blend in just to interact and relate with people? This is some thought provoking melancholy about dimension. Impasto is dimension of relief shape and height off the surface of a canvas. There are many sides and angles of the whole thought of dimension though.

Do you fit in? How about... do you fit someone? Do you fit anyone? How about over time? Are you so complex and too unique to where it makes it hard to relate to anyone? Have you longed for one person to match all your sides, instead of many people only relating with one small side you have? How about worse, where you finally meet someone that meets 90% of your sides, but then they rip your heart out & are undeserving of you... Were they really a fit for you after all? Or did they present an illusion... conforming to fit for a time, but lying to themselves and you while not presenting themselves as they truly are?

Do they even know who they are in order to hook up with you to go together towards the same goal? This is the importance of self discovery, before adding others, kids, & family on top of that.

Are you kicked out of place after place just to be alone again? You know you made more effort to make others feel like they belonged and you did what you thought was right. In the sea of monotony, you stand out... alone, different. You have standards but refuse to lower yourself. You're not better than anyone, you're just you, unique & different. You stand for a cause you believe in while others trample you and don't appreciate your unique features. They try to get you to conform to their simple shape and don't accept you for who you are. Who are you? Reality is, we all try to get people to fit us.

This is a sketch of what seems to feel like the endless search for someone like yourself you can relate with. And someone that's worthy. And it's usually not in proximity around you. (God bless the internet, so much!)

This could also be your place in life. Where are you meant to belong with all your intricate talents & gifts you give the world, that the world needs? Where does your career fit that they say is impossible?

Instead of trying to fit in, is it possible you could use a certain energy to attract like-minded pieces to you? Do you think it's possible a puzzle could be so advanced as you that the pieces actually "morph" together?

Pondering thoughts of a complex puzzle piece.
